1. Service Description

Scinaut ("the Service") is an AI-powered research assistant platform providing literature summaries, knowledge Q&A, materials science computation, and experiment protocol analysis. By using the Service, you agree to the following terms.

2. Account Registration

You must register an account via Google, GitHub, or email. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. You are liable for all activities under your account.

  • You must provide accurate registration information
  • You may not transfer your account to others
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use
  • One account per natural person

3. Subscriptions & Payments

The Service offers free basic features and paid subscription plans (Basic, Pro, Team). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may upgrade or downgrade at any time. All subscriptions are final and non-refundable. Since AI API costs are incurred immediately upon subscription activation, we cannot offer refunds. Experiment credit packs are also non-refundable.

4. Usage Restrictions

You may not: (a) use the Service for any illegal activity; (b) attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; (c) use automated methods to excessively call the API or unreasonably burden server resources; (d) upload files containing malware, viruses, or other harmful code.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all intellectual property rights to documents and content you upload to the Service. The Service claims no ownership over your data. AI-generated summaries and analyses are for research reference only and do not constitute professional advice. The Service's software, interface design, and branding are the property of Scinaut.

6. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies; users should independently verify critical information. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the Service.

7. Service Changes & Termination

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time, with advance notice to paid subscribers. Major changes will be communicated via email or in-service notification. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
